![]() The bike has always been owned and maintained by me, I'm a mechanic, and have kept it in great shape. This bike is the best and will change the way you ride for the better. I'll ship the bike anywhere in the US FOR FREE! That right, free shipping. The cranks have some minor cosmetic scuffs, but nothing to bad. 2020 Trek Stache 7 Price 2,499 USD Travel Front 120mm Wheel 29X3 Drivetrain SRAM, 1×12 What we like about it: Trek Stache 7 is a big-wheeled hardtail forest-road bike with a longer damping fork and more responsive liquid disc brakes to bring you more riding fun. I really dig the sram GX groupset for its affordability and its performance. The chupacabras Bontrager came out with are awesome, and surprisingly light for a 29+ tire. The DB5 brakes and 180 rotors have tons of stopping power, and the tires are in great shape. The Manitou fork is awesome, has lots of travel, and the lock out works like the day I first got it. It can even be put together as a single speed. It easily changes from a reliable bikepacking rig to a race machine. ![]() I've run it with a second wheelset with 2.2's on it and the conversion was easy because of the sliding dropouts. My favorite part about this bike is its unending versatility. At first people gawked at the sight of somebody racing a 29+ in cross country races, but when they saw how fast the bike was and how much fun I was having, they were converted to true believers. I've only done a couple of races on this bike, but in the short time that I've ridden it my confidence on rocky climbs and ledges has tripled! The plus sized tires and short wheelbase means this bad boy climbs like a goat and flies over descents. I've had the bike for nearly a year and I have learned so much about shredding from it. I replaced the stock saddle with a Fizik Pave CX because its more comfortable. This model has purple and electric blue paint, just like a wildberry poptart. ![]() Trek really knocked it out of the park with this bike, and I love this bike, but its time to make room in my little house for more things. It’s sure to cause a stir among riders and media.Īs roadies run to the gravel, hikers take up bikepacking, and “adventure” becomes the new driving motivation, more riders are asking for a capable bike with an oversized appetite for rugged backcountry riding – Full Stache fits that niche in the market. The time has come to sell my 2016 Stache 7. This bike offers a different riding experience, one for the most adventure-minded trail riders. Here’s the bottom line: Full Stache is a little out there, and that’s exactly the idea. Wide rims, aggressive tyres, a robust 1x drivetrain, and a host of reliable parts complete Full Stache’s ready-for-anything build. That makes Full Stache surprisingly agile despite its oversized appearance. An elevated and shaped chainstay keeps the chainstay length at a crazy-short 430mm. ![]() The bike is in like new conditions, with only minor cosmetic scratches on the tip of the. The Full Stache frame has been designed specifically for 29+ performance with a new suspension layout that combines crisp pedalling efficiency with confident big-hit control. Up for sale is a like new 2019 Trek Stache 7 that I bought this past from a local Trek store. The confidence inspiring 29×3″ tyres make the bike feel extra stable and offer tonnes of traction, and their larger diameter makes Full Stache faster-rolling than bikes running 27.5+ or 29″ tyres. Trek Full Stache gives you unmatched grip, stability, and momentum of 29+ tyres with the control and capability of a 130mm full suspension rig. Nothing that was a deal-breaker for me, but at this price you’d kind of expect some slightly higher end spec. The Stache 9 gets all the sexy stuff, and the 7 gets the basics alloy handlebar and seatpost (non-dropper) decent 1x11 drivetrain, cheaper grips, etc. A mountain bike unlike anything the world of trail riding has ever seen. As far as the spec goes, it does its job but is nothing all that fancy. ![]()
